Truth Before Validation

This working is not designed to prove whatever you already believe.

If you suspect someone is lying, the ritual does not begin by declaring them a liar.

If you suspect betrayal, infidelity, concealment, or another hidden circumstance, your suspicion is not automatically treated as fact.

Instead, the Coven works toward:

the truth of the situation.

That means the working must remain equally open to discovering that something was hidden—

or that your original suspicion was wrong.

At the center of your ritual sits a covered light.

The Lantern.

The light is already burning.

But it cannot yet fully illuminate what surrounds it.

That is the central symbolism of Lucifer Light.

The truth does not need to be created.

It needs to become visible.

Your petition is placed before the Lantern, and the situation described through your intake is established without assuming what the final answer must be.

The Known and the Assumed

Two markers are placed beside your petition.

Known

and

Assumed

The Known represents information you actually possess.

The Assumed represents suspicion, interpretation, possibility, fear, or conclusions that have not yet been established.

Both matter.

But they are not treated as the same thing.

Because sometimes an assumption points directly toward something important.

And sometimes—

it doesn’t.

The ritual remains open to both possibilities.

The Veil

A dark Veil is placed over the central petition.

It represents:

what you do not presently know.

The Veil does not automatically represent deception.

It does not declare somebody guilty.

It does not confirm betrayal.

It simply represents the hidden portion of the situation.

What exists beneath it remains unknown until it is brought into greater awareness.

The Serpent

The Serpent enters the working as a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, and hidden truths.

Its path moves toward the Veil.

The Serpent does not determine what the truth is.

Instead, it represents movement:

from not knowing toward knowing.

A path beneath the uncertainty.

A movement toward what has not yet been seen.

The First Light

The blue flame is established behind the Veil.

Lucifer’s current enters the working through knowledge, awareness, understanding, and illumination.

Lapis Lazuli is placed beside the Lantern as the ritual’s stone of truth and awareness.

But the Lantern remains partially covered.

Because illumination has begun—

while revelation is still unfolding.

The Uncovering

The Veil is not violently torn away.

It is gradually uncovered.

Because truth often arrives that way.

A conversation.

A contradiction.

A question you finally ask.

Something someone says without realizing its importance.

An overlooked detail.

A message.

A document.

Additional context.

A confession.

A realization.

Or the discovery that what you feared was happening—

wasn’t.

The ritual is not built around one predetermined method of revelation.

Lucifer — Sovereign of Illumination

Within the Hackjak Tradition, Lucifer is the Sovereign of Illumination.

He governs wisdom, enlightenment, knowledge, self-awareness, understanding, and self-mastery and serves as the keeper of illumination and source of higher understanding within the Black Pentarchy. 

Lucifer Light brings that current into ritual form around:

what is hidden.

The working moves through:

Hidden → Revealed → Recognized → Understood

The objective is not omniscience.

It is illumination.

The Open Lantern

Near the culmination of the ritual, the Veil is removed.

The Lantern stands open.

The petition is visible.

But the Known and Assumed markers remain separate.

That’s important.

Because the ritual does not turn every suspicion into fact.

Instead, the Open Lantern represents a situation in which what matters can become easier to observe, question, discover, and understand.

The message is simple:

What comes into the light must still be examined.
